Whats it worth?

I have got the chance of a F.L.H.R.C.I Road King Classic..

Being as most took the piss out of what I was thinking of getting, (Ultra Classic Electra Glide)

It is virtually as it came out of the showroom,, receipts for (including the bike) £24K,, it is jet black, 2003, with 18900 miles, mot March 2009, couple of months tax,,

I was going for a brand new one whatever model, but this is in fantastic condition.. I am tempted..

Till I got my softail I knew and still know very little about H.D.s

I wont say what it has been offered to me at,, till I have had a few answers, I am hoping some of you guy`s will suprise me in what you think it is worth..

Thanks this is a genuine enquiry.

Re: Whats it worth?

Well Mo that's 10k worth of extras on it as long as it is not all bling!

So what stage is the engine what extras can you tell us, has it been insured for an agreed price if so how much, all things to ask. Service from who and book stamped?

If all genuine and as you say and not all bling here is the next question private sale or dealer because there would be a mark up difference with a possibility of giving you a good acceptable p/ex price.

More info mate and pm pied piper Bob he has recently bought a RK Classic EFI.

Stab in the dark .......no need more info.

Re: Whats it worth?

'Kin 'ell Mo I have just seen it on fleebay thanks to beady eye roving reporter for central sth Limey-Dave.

Buy it, it is a bloody bargain I reckon. I was gonna say 10k max if the 10k extras were not all bling and that has some great spec on it mate.

Suppose that makes mine at 50k miles worth about 7k if I'm lucky!

But it's worth a lot more to me.

Re: Whats it worth?

If it is indeed the one on Ebay then it's a fine looking machine with an impressive spec.

I hated that gold thing, I really like this one.

Good luck

If you start riding now, you may be far enough away by October

Re: Whats it worth?

If it is the one on ebay, it's a nice looking bike.
Riding a Road King myself, I can recommend it. Very comfortable and reliable.
I think £8500 would be a good price
