| changing oil I might be beeing a bit fick but I've decided to change the oil on my TC88 streetbob. The book shows the drain bung as under the g/box pointing straight down. Having removed this I got about 1ltr of oil out. Is the book correct or have they swapped pictures with the g/box drain bung? I hope not as I can't find a socket to fit the g/box filler! ![]()

| Re: changing oil well u sure have removed the wrong plug,, just to make doubly sure u could check on ur engine dipstick plug u will see that the oil in the sump will still be there and the plug u removed was the gearbox , which holds about a litre , had u removed the engine sump plug u would have recoverd over 3 litres , on the dyna its located on the left side underneath looking at the bike from the left and on the side of the sump not directly beneath thats the gearbox one ![]() |
