hi hope some one has a knowledge and an idea if its feasable to liberate some of the exhaust gases on the muffler not attached to the exhaust actuater and thus not interfearing with the actuater operation , what i mean to say is if th both pipes are connected together by a small join towards the end before they join the mufflers and the acctuater flap on one pip only directs gases at low rpm thru the bottom pipe which has a smaller dia exit bore wouldent be a good idea to enlarge this baffle bore only on the lower muff;ler so that exhaust gases passed more freely thus creating a better sound all the time not just at high rpm? ps im talking about the fuel injected models

Re: re exhaust actuaters Hi, I bought and fitted these : https://www.kitechperformance.com/store.php?crn=444 from Kitech. They work and eliminate the active exhaust and inlet. You don't need to fit both. I did and no adjustments to the ECU were needed. If you fit the inlet eliminator then you might want to remove the solenoid actuated flap thet moves easily in the aircleaner. Steve

Re: re exhaust actuaters try swapping the mufflers top for bottom, that way the bigger bore pipe is constantly in use and makes it a bit louder, its a bit tight to get the bottom pipe fitted onto the top but it does go and really makes a difference

got the exhaust actuater eliminater plug was a doddle to fit , sounds ok but i reckon next step wud be a change of silencers too. swapping silencers from top to bottom as suggested wud not be e feasable opyion cos u will be running the unliberated silencer on the rear cylinder creating cooling probs to an already hot engine, so next step wud be a set of 50 state legal s.e
