Re: Help, losing faith in Harley

Update! Another 350 miles of testing and an email arrives saying 'come get it'!!!

Hurray. I foresee a long ride on Saturday somewhere completely unnecessary.

Great news. Well done for persevering, mate.

I hope it's running perfectly and you have a great time... finally!

Cheers

Re: Help, losing faith in Harley

Well, I finally picked up the Nightrain on Saturday and (touch wood) so far she's running sweet as,
so a massive thank you to Andy and Paul at Thundercity, Leeds who did all the actual work.

BUT... it was returned to me without the rack and sissy bar.
When I asked at the dealers where it was, their (rather rude) response was 'it's not here, it must be at Thundercity or your house'.
I was stood in Thundercity's recently cleaned and tidied workshop at the time. It's defo not at home. So I rode round to the dealers who just fobbed me off.
So I was left with my luggage to strap onto a bike with no rack, I had to bungy my kit bag to the handle bars instead!
In all the 20 years I have been riding bikes (37 years old and I have never owned a car) I have NEVER been so rudely treated by a bike shop. Frankly I am disgusted at the poor levels of customer service at Harley Stealerships.
