Re: Help with rear wheel removal

Can't help you with the torque settings but remember to grease the axle before replacing it.

This is the settings of my Road King should be the same I reckon????

Re: Help with rear wheel removal

My 2000 FXST Rear Axle Nut is : 60 to 65 Ft/Lbs. Not the same as BaZa's
I would make a 'phone call to a friendly Dealer and ask nicely.
Whatever you are told the Torque value is, Do Not Overtighten or you WILL knacker the wheel bearings.
Let us know...Pat.

Re: Help with rear wheel removal

Don't know what axle cone nut is but FLHR rear axle nut is 60-65.
Tighten to 60 then if needed tighten up to 65 to get the clip in.
DO NOT EXCEED 65 or bearings will be damaged.
