Flat bars on Street bob ? Hi, Bored with the mini apes on my 07 bob and I have always prefered the more stretched out look you get with flats. Does anyone know what would be the minimum risers I would need to clear the tank and any suggestions ? Cheers

Re: Flat bars on Street bob ? Paul I would have thought the only problem your get is if you went for bars that are designed to go back over the tank (like the old tiller swedish chop style bars) or bars that drop down below the level of your tank, then you'd need to worry about clearing your tank. A little while ago, Peter put a set of flat bars on his bob. Can't remember his handle on this forum, however will ask him to contact you. Please PM your email address. Cheers, Roy

Re: Flat bars on Street bob ? Roy, I put Wild 1 Chubby 504's on my Street Bob. All of the cables reached and just had to tweek the solid brake line near the master cylinder and thread the wiring internally that's all. I've since added 4" risers. Paul,I just realised I'm not far from you. You could try the bars on my bike to see if it feels right for what you want. PM sent
