| Would be interested to know Fatboy is going in for an MOT next week and because I have been in Devon for less than a year I don’t know the sp on local testers. To be safe I switched to the standard mufflers, particularly as the SE's are stamped with 'NOT FOR ROAD USE'. The bike had Stage 1 from new so standard mufflers are unused. To get to the point, I noticed 1> how fkin heavy there were. 2> they had 'Catalyser' stamped on them. 3> how quiet they were. This is a year 2000 bike and I didn’t think they had Catalytic Converters fitted then, if that's what Catalyser means! So I am interested to know what's what here. Its not that important cos the SE's will go back on post test, but I can't help wondering. Anyone got any ideas?

| Re: Would be interested to know My 2000 Fat Boy also had a Cat, it was bashed through with a steel rod before the SE's became available, went a lot better then and sounded a bit better. Never had a problem with the SE's and Mots though. Cheers
