Re: Replacing steering head bearings

Just been out for a test ride, so different.

When Oxford HD fitted the 'nut kit', they tried to tighten the steering bearings properly, however had to slacken them back off else the steering stuck. Now, new ones are in - feels a lot more solid at the front. JUst like on Garage Night (thanks Rob, there were some good tips on that one, i.e. how to pack grease into the new bearings etc), you don't know how good it'll feel till their replaced.
