| Avon tyre pressure No, this isn't another tyre thread. It's some info that I just got that might help anyone with an FLHR fitted with Avon Venoms. I've just spoken to the tech department at Avon regarding the pressure in the back tyre of my Road King. I have been told that the correct pressure for an Avon Venom MT 90B16 74H is 44 psi solo....add about 3 psi more for a pillion, and under no circumstances ever exceed 50 psi. It will however be ok to run at 50 psi, but no more than that. They are not designed to run at any higher than this safely. This info isn't on their website. So this may be of help to the next person asking the question. Brian.

| Re: Avon tyre pressure Avon techies gave me something very similar for Venoms when I had my 2003 Fatboy, ( the std HD Dunlops being 36 psi back and front ). Venoms: Front = 38 psi Rear = 44 psi ( solo ) As you say + 2/3 lbs for two up in the rear ony.
