This has just been sent to me by a relieable source , and should be of interest to members planning to buy a 'big glide' next year.

Harley have introduced a new feature on big glides for 2009.

Rear cylinder 'cut out' when idling!!!!!!!

This is to stop owners having their leg roasted and burnt because of overheating due to the weak mixture to ensure the correct emissions etc.

So, would this is another non-problem being admitted to in a sly back handed way, just like the gear whine.......

Well if you say so Nod but I wonder what it would do to the crank.

The Cady V8 has this but drops from 8 to 6 to 4 but still has a reasonably balanced engine.

... only in the good old US of A................. and to make thing worse H-D have added a third wheel for next year!!!!! check out the H-D web site to see the anouncment of a factory produced TRIKE! I kid you not...................................... words almost fail me this time................*##**@@*, give me strenght to carry on living....
