I think the 'photo shows a Car System. I have E-mailed them to clarify if it is a Hi/Lo replacement for the standard bulb. Will let you know.
Where did you order yours from as I have been looking for one of these for some time? How much did it cost?
Pat.

Re: HID headlight conversion

Dave, you were right this is for a single bulb (not Hi/Lo).
This was tacked onto the end of their ad: "This kit will fit 99% of bikes. The kit comes complete with 1x Xenon HID bulb and so is suitable for bikes that use a single headlight as a dipped beam or main beam. Please check your user manual to ensure this kit is compatible. For further advice please contact us"
Thought it was a bit cheap. Sorry, I got too excited thinking I found a good H.I.D. system.

Re: HID headlight conversion

Yes. The bulb moves to produce a dip and full beam. Consists of bulb, HV box and control box. Takes up quite a lot of space.

Re: HID headlight conversion

Are these retrofitted HID up grade kits legal?

I understand that the optics of the lens is important in HID lights and these kits do not replace the lens, only the bulb.

See these links:-

Maybe the eBay kit mentioned, should be reported to the Trading Standards?

Maybe you should just go old skool

Headlight relay with 100/80watt bulb

It maybe easier that trying to hide the HID ballast and other bits!
