Talking harley tools

hi i know that original harley fittings are of the imperial type excepting the battery terminal nut which is a 10mm , my question is i need a 12 point 1/4 inch socket to remove the brake caliper pins , but when going to the hardware store i am presented, with another dilema the guy asks , is it a 1/4 ich AF or withworth ,which is the answer im trying to find out from you guys with more expertise in this field as i dont want to obtain the wrong one and bugger up the pin thanks for your help guys

The number of times this has been asked, we should buy a job lot, and start selling them on here... or maybe a special rally pin, that doubles as a 1/4" socket...
Or, you pay an additional fee when you join up, and in your welcome pack, you get one included...

I agree but it is confusing for some people when the pad pins are 1/4" AF and the bolts holding the calliper on is a 12 point 10mm!!

It is because your forks are made in Japan and they are metric and other bits are made in Korea and they make to roughly the manafacturers spec, and other bits are MoCo and they fall off.

I would back this idea. More useful than T-shirts and easier to stock for the clubshop. It's amazing how many chewed up brake pins are around.
