Brake Trouble.

seems ive got a brake problem. not the usual carnt get it to bleed and the lever goes back to the bar problem. just the opposite infact. the brake feels too hard, no feel whatsoever and as soon as i touch it the brake is applied. just touching the lever has the brake light on( should have said its the front twin disc 2002 Dyna) i did change the pads, so its something ive done. any ideas please,cos i carnt aford too much of thet dot5 its extorsion. regards Djaks.

are you shore you put the pads in the rightway round??
they are handed, i would check this first.

Might want to look at the master cylinder seals and spring too. If they are not returning properly, then fluid isnt being drawn back up when the lever is off. This would give you similar symptoms to those you describe, including the light coming on easily.

hi John I put the right hand side pads in the same as the rear, twin points in, and the left side twin points out, but i will double cheque. thanks pal much apreciated. regards Djaks.
