There is a whole raft of things one might consider taking on a journey, just in case. The danger of doing so is not having enough room to take any luggage! An umbrella and recovery insurance takes up little room....

As well as a tool kit, torch, puncture repair outfit, lounge suit and accessories, an ipod, camera, mobile and recovery insurance, together with oversuit, leathers and waterproofs. Plus chargers, maps and stache of cash. And a giant adjustable spanner...just in case. Dont everybody?? |

My first Harley had spoked wheels and tubed tyres and I still have the bijou scissor jack I used to carry, for getting a wheel out to repair a puncture. I don't carry that any more. Everything around us is so much more reliable. What have I said....
