Re: Numptie question

Got another problem now - took the bike out today to enjoy the good weather - and now the damned little yellow light on the speedo (Check engine light?????) is staying on. It normally goes off a few seconds after you flick the on switch on? (before you start the bike)
Should I still be riding it????
I get the feeling I should ask the hire company to replace it- but dont want to be bikeless
Chhers people - this blonde appreciates your help

Re: Numptie question

the hire company is legally obliged to supply you with a bike that is fit for purpose, not one you have to put right.

with regard to the engine light it could something or nothing, you can scroll thru the speedo and it will give you the fault code. As this is a hired bike I would take it back to the company that supplied listing the problems you have had with it and that a third problem has now been found with the bike. They should be able to put it right there and then or offer you an alternative bike or equal or better quality.
