| Thunderheader Exhausts
I've been offered some s/h Thunderheader Exhausts + pipes at a fairly reasonable price and was wondering whether they were genuine or not. There doesn't seem to be any company logo or serial numbers or any kind of distinguishing marks on the silencer (muffler) or pipes for that matter and I was wondering if they were kosher. From the outside, they look like the Thunderheader true duals shown on the T/H website but looking down the inside, there seems to be little in the way of sound baffling and to all intents and purposes, it's not far off a straight through pipe. Comments would be welcome. |

They dont have any markings but they do have a rather distinctive reversion cone on the end. Baffling is not high on their list of priorities. They are aimed at performance rather then being nice to the neighbours. Without doubt, Thunderheaders are one of the loudest pipes going. |

From what you've said, it looks like they're the real thing. The reversion cones are distinctive! Next stop - Matt's! Thanks for the advice |
