Fairing Mounted Mirrors: Hit or Miss??

Are fairing mounted mirrors when fitted to an Electra Glide any good?

They certainly look good but that ain't goin' to count for much if all I can see is elbow!

I ride a Street Glide a lot with fairing mirrors. Works fine for me.

Thanks guys: they're on order along with a bag to fill the gap were the radio should be.

Splurged on glove boxes too......Not much from HD is cheap is it

Another davantage of fairing mounted mirrors is better protection from the wind and rain.
