Yes, I have that bulletin too, but there was a completely separate issue made about the sleeve on the nut being a few thou too long, so when tightened to the correct torque (or torque + angle), it wasn't tight on the sprocket (or so they say) and was bottoming out instead. Some people fitted a washer (I think somebody was even selling one), and others ground the end of the sleeved nut to provide more clearance.
Hearsay only, but I do remember it. Some stuff on
here about the shim and grinding down the nut. Original stuff was probably on the old HTT site, so possibly hard to find now.
One company even sold a
locking plate to stop the nut from coming loose.
