They're the same size as the stock 88's .. They'll still give you 88 inch displacement. The 96 inchers have a 3/8"longer stroke and shallower pistons.

I stand corrected,brain fart. ![]() Bore to 3.875" and SE pistons will give you 95" on a TC88. |

So what size do you get if you put SE pistons in a 96" motor?

| Re: 1584 Barrels ? All depends what compression you want. If you're changing only the barrels & pistons while retaining the stock cams & heads then use SE cast flat tops (part no. 22851-99A). Most bolt in cams will also work with these pistons, unless your choice of cam needs more compression then you'll be looking at head work or domed pistons to match .. |

Like the man says. The first thing to do is decide what you want from your engine: Big torque etc. What do you ride? What will turn a SuperGlide into a little rocket may be a poor choice for a big bagger that is usually two up. Expert advise is usually a good idea. Throwing parts on a bike that look good in a book is usually not smart.

Very true, all I would like is the low to mid range grunt. Like cruising in top gear then overtaking with a twist.
