Wink Crying Lass: Discuss.... what's your views?

What is it about a crying lass, even one acting. I can't help but want to help, hold etc. Makes my reason disapear in almost the same way as breasts do!

Is it genetic? Do you feel the same?

YouTube - Sugarland - Stay: Video

PS. I've been listening to this lately, cheesey maybe? But pretty good I reckon.

Re: Crying Lass.

She's singing about how her man is stepping out on her with another woman, and she's asking him what does this other woman have that she doesn't, and how it's too much pain to bear to have a man that she has to share, and how they don't have to live like that, if only he would stay with her. She can't take it anymore, but by the end of the song, even though it hurts her to her soul, she tells him that she can't do this anymore and she knows that if he can't stay she must go.

Solution don't let her find out you are having nookie on the side then she wouldn't have to sing that fecking song.

Don't care what anyone says, there is something about a woman crying that makes a switch flick in a blokes head.

Cows don't cry !

Prey animals don't vocalise their pain, there is evidence that they don't even feel pain in the same way that pack predators do. Endorphin levels in prey animals rise to levels that indicate that the prey only show physical signs of injury that indicate their weakness.
Obviously if a prey animal were to start wailing with pain it would indicate to the prey that it was an easy catch so the brain compensates with hormones to allow time for injuries to heal.
Its quite amazing that a cow on heat although chronically lame will miraculously seem to recover during its heat period and revert back to its former lame self after the heat period as finished. Hormones are amazing things, endorphins are the bodies natural pain killers. Adrenalin is another seemingley magical hormone, once the brain starts pumping that stuff about a lame animal can run near as fast as a healthy one.
Its all about survival.

A pack predator is a different kettle of fish.
With no audible sounds to indicate weakness in its prey, they rely on getting close enough to see visible signs of weakness and use the pack to bring down larger and less agile prey.
If a pack animal is injured it relies on the fellow members of the pack to ensure its survival, wailing its demise to the pack gives it a survival advantage.
Predators feel more pain to initiate the wailing.

Man is a pack predator.

Crying is a cry to the pack for assistance, females of course are essential to the long term survival of the pack. Wailing under many circumstances is not detremental to the predator its part of its survival and bonding mechanism,
Its not really suprising that something clicks, when we see or hear someone crying, a primeval instinct. Crying is a cry for help from a fellow pack member.
Look at the support recieved from members of this forum to other members , if they have a problem.
