| Servi-Car - Weight and MOT Does anyone know what a Servi-car (fibre-glass box) weighs. It ain't in my service manual or operators booklet. I'm told I'll need it for the new regime MOT. Also does anyone know a sympathetic (to such odd and vintage vehicles) MOT station - that can do Class III vehicles - and is within striking distance of West London. Cheers, Pyro

| Re: Servi-Car - Weight and MOT Tony if you go to any council weighbridge you can get it weighed there and a ticket with the weight stamped on. Even your local scrap metal dealer they have weigh bridges to weigh the lorries before and after dropping their scrap. Ask APC in Eastcote Lane if they would do a Harley 3 wheeler. APC Motors - 020 8423 3122 ![]() Address: 314,Eastcote Lane,South Harrow,Harrow,Middlesex,HA2 9AH Telephone: 020 8423 3122 Just had my RK done there as I told you at The Ace last week. |

| Re: Servi-Car - Weight and MOT Hi dude I would go on to the Flathead Power forum to get the answer - that might be your quickest source........ http://www.flatheadpower.com/BB/ (EDIT...SORRY Baza **I** read it wrong I think. ) |

| Re: Servi-Car - Weight and MOT Tony, the only reference I can find in my books is for a 1941 GA, which gives the weight as 1,360 lbs (619 kg). This would not be a fibreglass body, though, as you're no doubt aware. I think Baza's got the right idea, go to a council weighbridge. You've got documentary proof then; check first, though, if your vehicle DOES need to be weighed on account of its age. I'd avoid the scrap merchants though, scrap iron's fetching good money at the moment! ;) ![]()
