Have searched.internet but cannot find if shovel cylinder heads were ever made in cast iron .I dont mean sportsters.thanks in advance.

Zipps, Don't think the MOCO ever made Shovel heads in CI, the cylinders are in CI but he heads are Ally. Far as I am aware the same went for the pan heads. BR, Simon

Knuckles were iron, Pans and Shovels ally.

Thanks for replies.the reason I ask is because I have seen a picture of a 70s shovel and the barrels heads and rocker boxes are all black? ....

You might find that the highly regarded but low-profile aftermarket company Axtell did them. Or does them. Do a web search. I'm not certain, but... |
