On the old p/u triumphs a clutch dodge was to cut the push rod in half and put a ball bearing in the middle.could this be done to a h/d.on the end of the clutch adjuster????

Suppose you could in theory , but why would you want to?

well it was supposed to be a better bearing surface than a flat end and would make the clutch ---better.
