FLH battery..

Hi all,
does anyone know of a sealed or AGM battery that is the right size and terminal position for a '70s Electra ? No problem getting top up batteries, but, being lazy, a no maintainance one would be nice.
Thanks in advance.

Re: FLH battery..

Cheers Lambo,
you give all the relavent details , make, year, model, and end up back at the
YHD12....conventional, top up !
Thanks though , I prefer Yuasa to other battery makes, will probably end up with one.

Hiya J

Try oddessey batteries, they do a sealed one for a FLH,+ they have a chart that gives you the sizes etc.

Can't do the cut and paste thing for you tho mate.

Good luck.

Chill;)

Re: FLH battery..

Thanks for the thought Chilly,
but I'm afraid even they don't cover it, it seems like the H12 size battery is
a very specific application, ie '65-'84 (ish) FLH and some XLH.
Just gonna buy another top up style and get on with it.
Cheers,
J.

Re: FLH battery..

Hey Kiwi,
I tried four H-D boutiques , after a lot of head scratching, 1 said it was unavailable, 1 said it was sealed, but they couldn't get one! and, 2 said it was a conventional top up only. so....I got a Yuasa.
Cheers for the replies.

Re: FLH battery..

had to get a battery for my bike a while back

F****ing hd shop staff couldn't even work out the parts manual to work out what battery it took

after i gave them the part number it took them another 20 minutes to work out they didn't have a battery in stock

but to give them there due they are great at selling t shirts

went to a local ducati race shop, they got what I wanted in in a day or so and at a better price
