Parade; FALL IN!

Fancy a free day out at Rockingham Raceway's "Days of Thunder" event?

Members attending the "50 Years of Sportsters" event have recived an invitation from Martin Dickenson, the Chapter Director of Nene Valley HOG to attend on Sunday, July 22nd, and take part in a parade around the track.

Craig Thomas, the stunt rider, is doing a display there, and is a member of this HOG chapter. Martin found out about the Sporty event and extended the invitation to us.

Basically, we will meet up with the other riders at Rockingham, do a couple of laps of the circuit (at about 60 mph I'm told) Craig Jones then does his show, we do another lap then we can either go on home or enjoy the rest of the day there.

It's a great opportunity for us to advertise this Club, and an excellent FREE day's entertainment; please support it if you can.

I'd be grateful if anyone interested could please let me know so I can give Martin an idea of how many will attend.

Thanks

Kev

I'm up for it. As long as you all promise to wait for me after you've done your couple of laps.

60mph indeed. That's just reckless.

I did tell Martin that there were likely to be a few 45's and Pans, etc with our lot; knowing what that mad bunch of feckers like on HDRCGB rideouts it'll probably be US that cop for a yellow flag or whatever they use to slow 'em down!

Well my engine ran for the first time since it's rebuild, yesterday. Sweet as a nut, went crack derattle decrack like all good ironheads should. So it looks like I'm going to make it on the ferrous flyer albeit at running in speeds. I might need a tablet because I'm getting over excited.

Awesome Gray, that means you'll be able to stop your viagra perscription after getting those Ironhead vibes back.
I'll be coming in my car so look forward to seeing it, and meeting ya.

This is what it used to look like. And now it's er... much the same but without the vinyl decals. See you there Mate. Sounds like I'm not the only one with last minute refurbs.
