Saddlebag locks....on Glides.

I bought a new pair of locks for my fibreglass bags but they don't come with the hooks, the ones on the old locks (no keys), have a small square hole and are held by a screw, the new locks need hooks with a bigger round hole with flats and are secured by a locknut !
So.. any ideas what year hooks I need to find ?
The parts book doesn't show the difference.

I had a similar problem fitting new locks to teh bags on my shovel

made a tiny steel fillet to take up the space and assembled with washers big enough to hold it all together

locsk are useless anyway, best to use a bungy cord in addition as insurance against lost lids

Flashback to 1977 M62 walking back to pick up lost lid, wanted a holiday of its own!!

Panster,

There is a hole at the clip at the forwrd end of the lid where it attaches to the main body of the pannier. pass a spring ring through the pair of holes in that way if the lock comes undone you won't see your expensive fibre glass panier top bouncing down the roud before being squashed by an 18 wheeler!

Thanks all,
I have a split pin through the front hinge so the losing of lids is covered,
I just don't know what year bags I have, so can't get the hooks I need.
if anyone has a set of known year bags on their bike, could you tell me what years have the lock hooks secured by a screw and which ones have a locknut?

AHA !
I think I might have it sussed, the parts book lists 53306-69 as a tourpak
hook and a saddlebag hook and it is clearly a nut and flats type.
Now I just need to find a pair.
