Re: PAN finished at last

looks good, although I think the grips may be aftermarket

Seriously though, keep an eye on the seat back to rear fender clearance, it looks a bit close.
I look forward to watching you start it after a rally on a wet Sunday morning.

VERY nice Che, it's a credit to you, I know how frustrating a build like that
can be but when it's all done ya can't beat it can you.
Don't forget to put your points cover on though .
Ride safe.
J.

Re: PAN finished at last

Damn Jamie, I was just looking at the pix and thought I would be a wiseass and type in ''you left the cap off!!'' ha ha ha but you beat me to it.

What kind of nick was it in Kim, and what did you have to do to it? I recall a lot of questions, but not too much of a general rundown.....

Great job. Love what you do. You're an inspiration and that is no over-statement

Re: PAN finished at last

I know, I know, I know, i let the points cap off. I've also got to sort out a chain guard before i take it for MOT. Dave i've posted another pic, so you can see where i started.

It is basically, style wise as i bought it, i've just refined it. Moved number plate, had tranny rebuilt, complete re-wire, i made a new loom. internal throttle - pig of a job. Pulled all the black off the engine. Re-seated valves, painted it - duckegg blue. made primary area oil tight.... i hope. brake shoes. tyres, put fishtails on, both seats are bespoke, and generally sorted the whole thing out. Looking forward to taking it to the yorkshire bash.... i hope!!!

Re: PAN finished at last

Very nice Che, I see you bravely didn`t go for a brake upgrade (by brakes I mean the slight retarding devices at each end).
