Not this year though mate; only thing it clashes with is my birthday on the Sunday!
So we can all look forward to a free 'cheerio and thanks for coming to my birthday party and not bringing me any presents yer tight lot' drink on the Sunday then?

Check yer diary and you'll find out that I've organised this event so that Saturday is the Longest Day, so you'll have more time to enjoy the rally!

Jeez, some people want bells on it!

Excellent Pete, be nice to see you both back again.

Is it worth me running a sweep on which bike Will's going to bring this time?

Thanks for the video; that was indeed one helluva weekend, one of the best rideouts I've ever been on.

Re: Vintage & Sportster Weekend 2008

I've been meaning to do this event for years.

Can somebody please remind me of the eligibility for Vintage? My pan is about to undergo a makeover and will probably not be on the road by then..... I seem to remember this is pre-alternator only? Makes my '77 shovel FXS too young I guess.

Thanks

There is no"eligibility", or year cut-off date, unlike the Old-Timers, but if you want to win a trophy it's pre-Evo.

I've often said that it's the people that count just as much as the bikes, and I'm sure you'll have a great time, meet many old friends and hopefully make new ones, whichever bike you turn up on.

At the rate my Ironhead restoration is going I'll be turning up on the "rubbermount" myself!
