1977 XLH rear shocks

Hi; could someone tell me, please, the standard length (between eyes) of rear shocks for a 1977 XLH?
Cheers, Pete.

Re: 1977 XLH rear shocks

You should have 14inch shocks (original oem number54490-78). The earlier XL`s 54-74 had 14.5 inch. Most of the after market catalogues list them.
