Re: Mallory park festival of a thousand bikes 2009

Weve now had the meeting with the VMCC,,,

Our pitch this year will be 60ft x 20ft of which 40 ft will be covered with a marquee.

Camping will be on own own piece of land which will be roped of on the right of where we camped last year. By that time there will be a new water main installed so we will have running water.

The track session is booked for 1.45 on the Saturday and all money for this should come to me first, I will be passing it on to the VMCC. This way will make sure we get all our passes etc.

The cost will be decided at the coming AGM as soon as we know how much the club is going to put towards it Ill then be asking for the money.

Each person that enters the track session will get TWO passes for the weekend which will include camping. If you pay at the gate it will cost you £28 for the day only.

What I need from the rest of you is bookings for the track session, so if you want to support your club and have a blast round Mallory book your place !!

Re: Mallory park festival of a thousand bikes 2009

We only have about ten people brave enough to go round the track so far :-( a little surprising as most people seem to tell me about how fast they ride their bikes, this would be a great oportunity to show us.

Ill know after the AGM this coming weekend how much the club is going to contribute towards the track session. If any one has had a problem getting hold of me Ive updated my contact details in the members section.

Dave

Re: Mallory park festival of a thousand bikes 2009

The club is contributing £10 towards the cost of the track session per person, so for £20 you get a weekend pass which will get you and your bike in to the grounds for the weekend and a ride round the track. This was a great wekend last year so make the effort, youll be supporting your club at the same time.

All entries need to go to the clubs PO box address which is;

HDRCGB
PO Box 62
Newton Abbot
Devon
TQ12 2QE

Cheques made payable to the VMCC. Could you please email me and let me know if and when you send the money.

Thanks, Dave

Re: Mallory park festival of a thousand bikes 2009

Breaking News Dave maybe you and The Lakes will get more numbers now?

I.O.W. Rally this same weekend is now cancelled.

There's been a change of personnel off shore and Russ
Cluitt has taken over as temporary Rep until EGM can be arranged. So
please spread the information to your members in case they are
booking ferries or time off .
