1972 Ironhead Sportster

My mate Bob built this Ironhead from a basketcase which is amazing as he has had a stroke and does'nt have full use of the lefthand side of his body!
He recently fitted the Watsonian sidecar.
Front brake, clutch and throtte controls are all on the righthand handlebar!
I think he done a great job considering his disablement!

Excellent,hats off to Bob,weel done that man

72 Sporties are cool,especially "Hippy" type orange ones

Just got me small number plate,i was suprised you could still get small show plates,i thought they had been scuppered by the Government ?

That is one seriously nice outfit. Proof that there is at least one 72 Ironhead that can go round corners properly!

Like the later XLS tank, quite a rare piece now.

That is neat. I like the comfort add ons like the sprung saddle and steering damper. I would think you'd need that damper with a sporty's trail but I bet the engine makes a great tug. Cool.
