Non HD Help

Anyone help out some friends of mine?

A mate's just built a Vincent from a basket case of new bits........

Hi There can anyone advise me with a bike registration problem. Peters Egli Vincent has passed its ministry test and now has to be registered with the DVLA at Northampton so that he can get a number plate. I have the forms to do this but am not sure what section his bike comes under as its been built from new parts.Has anyone out there heard of anyone with this prob. Can you put me in touch with anyone who has had to register a bike built from new parts.
Thanks
Love Chrisxx

Any help much appreciated.

Cheers, Kev

Re: Non HD Help

For an age related plate you'll need a letter of authenticity from a recognised body (vincent owners club ? ), which may be tricky if the bikes made up of mainly new parts.....you could be looking at a dreaded Q plate...

Re: Non HD Help

try the VMCC as above or the owners club as I think they built a Vincent out of new parts a couple of years back and had it road registered Vincent HRD Owners Club
