News on my Bonneville Salt Flats 1954 KHK

Hi all,

After 9 long months of gestation, the bike is now finished, I just wheeled it out of the garage this evenings for a few shots... Now looking for some transport to go somewhere quiet to start it and , later, a trip to a road rolling dyno to sort out ignition advance and carb settings... Wish me luck!!!

If I'd known it to be that hard and intense, I probably wouldn't have started it!!! It certainly killed dead my social and club life this year...

And many thanks again for those who've pulled out their wallets to help me, it's very much appreciated and won't go unnoticed!!!

I promessed Fuzz I'll be at the Festival of 1000 bikes with it, so see you all there if you so wish, that'll be my last outing before shipping the bike over.

So long, Patrick

The team entry for the event is listed as the "HDRCGB KHK Special"

If I break a record rather than the bike, it'll be listed as that

I'll also "pinch" one of the club banners at the 1000 Bikes to ship with the bike...
