Oil tray?

Where the hell do you buy those trays that fit under the bike when you change the oil?Been to two Halfords and the local car shop, all they have is what looks like an oil can...to big to fit under the bike!

I suppose I could use an old litter tray ? Just thinking about when its time to dispose of the oil...the proper tray lets you pour the oil without it going everywhere.

Re: Oil tray?

I use a cat litter tray from Asda...Ł3.99, and I use a funnel to pour from that into a suitable container for disposal.

Re: Oil tray?

Depends on whether the cat got to it first or not.

Re: Oil tray?

Harley Davidson 4 litre oil container lay on hits side check it will go under bike,
if so with a stanley knife cut square hole in the side but leave the rounded bits in to stop oil slopping out when carring it. Remove normal pouring cap to drain oil into any container to dispose of oil.

Buy a shovelhead and let the oil drip out very slowly wherever you park.
