Harley in the living room

I was amused to find the attached 'news' story about an American couple who keep their scoot in the lounge, as I have done exactly that for more than 10 years.

Full story here: http://www.theithacajournal.com/apps...602080310/1002

The best bit of the story is where they say that the association with 'bearded, beer-swilling men' is a thing of the past. Obviously they have never been to a Rider's Club event! Does anyone else keep their baby in the house?

My bikes are always kept in the lounge or conservatory ...isn't that where we all keep our bikes

Re: Harley in the living room

I keep mine in the dining room for the worst of the winter,
so its close to mi toolbox and the cleaning stuff ...

it usually as so much wax on by the spring...........
that the rain clouds part when I get it out

i'm sure the other bikes would like to come in as well , but I would have to shorten the dining table even further ..........
and we couldn't have the inlaws round at Christmas

only a small sacrifice methinks ;)

But are they answering the phone or just checking their mascara and filing their nails? ;)

Re: Harley in the living room

Bit off topic, I know, but when I was a kid, there was a retired couple who had been keen caravanners all their lives, so they built a retirement bungalow with two caravans inside. The rest of the house was empty, and they lived all their lives in the caravans, gas lamps and all...
Mind you, that was two caravans off the road for good, and the house would have held a load of bikes when they'd gone....
