| Re: prescription glasses
I wear goggles over my prescription glasses. The major reason I haven't bought the prescription goggles is that any damage to them would render me unable to have good vision for riding. With the goggles over glasses, if they get damaged, I still have the glasses to get me home. Still, after nearly 17,000 miles with the goggles, they are still good (minor scratches only). I'm finally getting cataract surgery on my bad eye at the end of this month. With that, I can expect not to need prescription lenses for riding. I'll still have to bring some with me for reading, though. I may even go back to riding with a full face helmet! ;)
