| Rear Suspension struts
I am considering getting some suspension struts for the back of my sportster. Going to give it a try before going for the full hardtail look. Before you all tell me don't do it, its my second bike at the moment and its in bits anyway from when the chain destroyed the rear mudguard and I fancy doing it as a sort of custom project. I plan to cut down the damaged mudguard and mount an after market tail light on it and use somre sort of single seat. I will be keeping all the stuff I take off so i can put it back to standard in the future if i want. two questions , has anyone got any experience of this sort of set up, and does anyone know of a supplier for them in the uk ? |

No and No, Pete. But many hardtail/chopper riders who haved tried this have written that they wish they had not. As I always advise to ''never give a toss what the next guy thinks'', I won't post my opinion as to the visual impact of struts Good luck - do your thing! |

Like I said, I am only considering at the moment and I won't be doing anything that can't be reversed, if I hate it, I sell the bits on ebay and put it back to standardish
