H-D Dealership Closed Down

H-D Dealership Closed Down.

As from this morning, III Rivers H-D formally (J.R.Taggars) in Watford has closed down.

I am waiting on an email from the dealer principal and will hopefully have more information as and when.


(I might even be able to spend a bit more time on here now they have closed.)

That's the one, it has been in the shop and it belongs to Nick Gale.

giant Mercedes-Benz franchise dips toe in water, doesn't like it, clears out.

No loss to **bikers** whatsoever.

Dave the Mercedes-Benz franchise was taken away from all private garage owners and they now sell direct at their own garages.

The owner of the site JR Tagger with Paul Lamar dipped there toes into the H-D world. Taggar pulled out as you said and left a management buyout there with a money man behind them.

Then Paul Lamar pulled out and that just left Stacey and (accountant) Julie who I hope don't loose their houses that I expect they may have put up to get the buyout. As you say sorry to all the staff about a dozen of them.

Well I did have my 1st service there.

Popped down there just after lunch for a coffee a gander,had'nt read my messages on the pewt so had no idea the dealership had gone tits up.There were a couple of vans getting ready to load some of the bikes,i heard that a new site had been found as Bushey was an arm and leg to rent,but the money men pulled the plug.

Looks like i'll be taking my bike to Full Bore and letting Jumbo get his hands on it.

So which is our local dealer now,3 rivers was only 5 miles for me.Stadium, Three Valleys,Silverstone,Oxford???

I was over their on Saturday spoke to Julie she said there lease ran out end of April and they had found a new place in Hemel. Then the backer pulled the plug and the rest is history.

I booked my bike in with them 3 weeks ago for some warranty work to be done . New spokes and sort out Fuel gauge. Had call yesterday spokes are in but we can no longer do the work go to Stadium. Went over to Stadium spoke to John he has to check to see if warranty work was booked in as it has now run out.
