They certainly are small but what's with the kiddie balloons you need to inflate it? If you want to compete in mountain marathon's it's size is a virtue but your never that limited for space. Comfort and ease of use have to be far more important, unless you like making balloon dogs and giraffes

I bought one of those kiddies inflatables last year for France, cost about £3, easy to blow up, deflate and carry on the bike, they come in different sizes, wise not to get the little size if you are big, I got the medium, suited me (5'2"); done me for two weeks, and I'll use it again this year.
