How did you manage that? When I spoke to them they would only do book price. What would the book price on yours be and what add ons do you have?

.......I did an on-line quote, they sent the docs through this morning - iI checked them through with a fine-tooth comb - all correct, so I rang them and took out the insurance. My bike is now insured, fully comp for £97.

Maybe it's your age... or the fact that you live in a bunker..... do you actually ride it?!

What about the excess? I could have got mine down from £167 by putting that up

Exactly the same price for a 96 FXDS with 500 excess,its only 3quid more for 250 excess

I BET it is not an agreed value. That means you have to send in pictures and get a dealer to sign saying that is what your bike is worth. On that day of the inspection.

If you lost it and had a claim bet they would only give you average market value. If I am wrong then so be it.

You will never know until... I just hope you will never have to find out.

BTW I take it is for limited mileage and never to go off road ie (Rallies...LOL)

At the risk of pointing out the obvious to Bazza and Simon....the answers to your queries were in post 1. I know Mr phssthpok didn't mention photos and dealer coroboration but isn't agreed value exactly what it says

On the other hand it does sound too cheap to be for real. I'll find out in a couple of days when I start looking for this years cover.
