Re: Bike Hire in Australia

Dunno Mrs C, but I have a couple of cousins living there in Perth, I could ask them to see if they could find out, or perhaps it be found online?

I WOULD contact the Perth dealership

the WA HOG page gave no clues and there were no instant results on a web search....... just ''motorcycle tours'' when you don't get to ride 'em

Re: Bike Hire in Australia

Speaking from the much colder and infinitely less preferable Perth in Scotland (where, by coicidence, we did have the Australian Pink Floyd Show last night) you could try:
http://www.garnersmotorcycles.com.au/gm_conditions.html
They aren't based in Perth, but they do offer one-way rentals to Perth, so maybe you can ride one back to Melbourne.... ;)
One of the guys from our Company just moved out there; I'll see if he can find anything out....

Re: Bike Hire in Australia

Put it this way KD, given the choice between riding from Perth to Melbourne, or sitting here in this goddam office, where everything has stopped working due to yet another 'software upgrade', I know which one I'd choose!

Re: Bike Hire in Australia

Hi,

I would like to go to Australia or USA to tour on a bike,http://http://www.eaglerider.com/?OV...OVMTC=standard these people have the monoply in the States, but not to sure if the have an outlet in Australia.

Why is it so expensive to rent a bike in Oz & USA?Electra Glide rental in Oz is just over £700.00 pw thru a company i found £750.00 in the states + the extra insurances etc.I would be going for 3 weeks, but the cycle rental makes it way beyond my budget.I can rent a 4x4 for less than the price of a bike.i think i'll end up renting a car for the duration and just renting a bike for 4 or 5 days.

Steve
