Johnny "Chop" Vasko RIP

Johnny "Chop" Vasko passed away Tuesday morn. @ 1:00 am. All they know at this point is his heart stopped.

34 years old- he suffered from a life long heart complaint.

So much talent and so short a life to use it.

See you in Valhalla.

R.I.P.

.........see you in the palace.

Good quote here:

If any moron wanted more proof that the good die young, this is it. We'll miss you, bro, and I hope that they'll give me a little "good time" away from that place I'll be going to so we can ride together again

Re: Johnny "Chop" Vasko RIP

At the Easyriders show here in Sac in 04, the shop I was working for at the time & Chica had stands next to each other, by amazing coincidence across from us was the beer tent!
For two days we enjoyed a remarkable time with two fine guys (Chica & Johnny Chop ran their stand). I found Johnny had a quick, dry sense of humour, the two of them together were hysterical esp. later in the day after a few.
Johnny had girls flocking to him for autographs, he was bemused & amazed but obviously enjoyed it. He will be sorely missed.
Photo taken late the last day, both of us pretty much plastered.

great pic Phil.

Chica's stuff is amazing.

I confess, not watching any Discovery Channel, that I had not heard of JC until his obituaries started popping up but he was obviously another highly talented individual. RIP
