A great bike that really needs use. The bike is in A1 mechanical running condition with a strong rubber mounted EVO 1340 engine and 5 speed box. Belt drive and is in totally unrestored standard condition. It is T&T and if a new MOT is required at the end of the auction I will put one on. Bad points I brought this beautiful bike with the intention of restoring and customising it and I looked very hard to find a good one in A1 mechanical condition that I could ride every day and restore as I went. This bike is nearly 20 years old and need cosmetic attention. There are rust spots on the mudguards and frame which are minor but it would need a respray, The alloy is dull and would need a good polish, and the exhaust has been welded in the past, The radio dose not work. If you are looking for a cheap big 1340 V twin in original every day use condition and have the time to restore it or just ride it as it is then this is the bike for you. I have had offers from friends who would like the engine and box for a chop project etc but I won't break this bike for spares as it is far to good and they are becoming hard to find on the roads these days. I have set a low reserve and I will not be ending the auction early, and I am not interested in a PX of swap. | Re: Looks like a genuine buy It's a real shame... Steve (the guy selling it) took it for MoT, only to find that the frame is rusted so badly that it makes the bike unroadworthy. Crap for him and crap for me too - I was determined to get that one. |
