This is getting to be a Venom love in. Swapped the OEM's at the start of the year and I can't fault em, wear is not an issue and I reckon they may even outlast the dunlops! At some point I may try the Metzlers but with the feedback so far I might just carry on and enjoy the Avons until the evidence says different.

Whatever you change to tho it'll be an improvement

Bought one of the new fatter dunlops for the back of the Heritage as had a good one on the front. I like it, much better, but I think maybe cause the square old style Dunlop that it replaced was awful..

My OE Dunlops let the rear go on my V-Rod in mildly damp conditions, and riding witrh them through to 9,500 miles was a mistake because they destroyed my confidence in the wet. Replaced the Dunlops with recommended Venoms transformed the bike, and wet roundabouts no longer hold any problems for me.
The Venoms have been on the bike for 2000 miles and still have plenty of tread on them, but the sides of the rear are churning up alarmingly/nicely depending on your riding style ;) . Although reaching the limits of the rear the edges of the front will never see tarmac. Still a good half inch of unused rubber on them despite copious amounts of Hammerite protecting the underbelly .
