Keys. Hi I have never had a Harley key cut and have just been asked if there are any issues getting another Harley key cut for a early 90s bike, (original held). Is it a normal key cutting job with the original or a dealers issue? Cheers, Jason.

Re: Keys. I went to a dealers and they took the number and ordered a pair (peace of mind) from the States. It only took a week for them to arrive though. Hope that helps ![]()

Re: Keys. they are so easy to hot wire I threw the keys away on a couple of my bikes and rely on a disk locks instead fitting a kill switch in some discreet place is probably better security also a lot of hd keys interchange bewteen one bike and another, the standard ignition keys offer no real security at all.

Re: Keys. Cheers Ivan, I have said go to the dealer and order some. Kiwi, quite agree, I use disc lock when out and about. I have just met him and he is new to Harleys and pretty much to bikes, think that would scare him currently. I have suggested lots of other security options etc. Thanks, Jason. ![]()
