nene valley hog

ive been invited out for a run on saturday with the nene valley chapter. they are having a ride out and are then in a carnival parade!
anyone else on here associated with them, or going? im not sure wether or not to go yet. might go for the ride out but not to sure about the parade!!! might be a bit to warm to sit at 5mph in the weather we have had!
still, it will be a bit easy riderish, maybe we'll get arrested too!

Dan, apart from the above there is no way you should run that brand new engine in a SLOW PARADE IN HOT WEATHER until it is well broken in.
With all the stock stuff on it will be running hot enough as it is .

id love too but i have my daughter on sat night and sunday and have plans. otherwise i would have done. maybe next time.
i have no intention of joining the nene valley crowd, i had the hog tat thrown in and was invited by a member earlier today.

phil, that was one of my concerns. i dont want to mess up my engine, i noticed it does seem hot when i ride it, especially where my right leg catches the top of the rear cylinder! guess i might give it a miss and go on a good long ride out instead! i need to get some mileage on there, the 1000 mile service is still to far away for my liking! only 700 to go though!
