| Royal British Legion Riders Branch Sponsered Poppy Ride Just like to close this by saying thank you to everyone who sponsored me. I raised a grand total of £700.00. Also to the anonymous person who donated £50 on my website http://www.justgiving.com/raycooper thanks very much. You will get your reward in another place. Just to reiterate, I did 1800 miles in the week, spending £165.00 on petrol. The longest single trip was from Brionne in France to Liverpool, just under 500 miles taking 10 hours including 1.5 hrs on the boat. If you want to join the RBLR go to http://www.rblr.co.uk/ have a look around, down load the forms and send them off. Remember it is not a bike club, it is a branch of the Royal British Legion. You don't have to have served in any of the forces, I didn't, but if you have served, for as short a time as 7 days, even in any of the reserve forces, then you are entitled to help from the RBL. Thanks and Goodbye Ray |
