Re: S&S X-Wedge V-Twin Engine

wow...very interesting.

The revived Indian's short-lived ''Coke bottle'' motor of 3-4 years ago seemed to kickstart the whole round-engine thing. That was a gorgeous motor - and I don't mind the look of this either.

S&S will pick up big business with that among the custom builder crowd. Their reputation is 'top-notch, all made-in-the-USA' and a LOT of folks like that.

Re: S&S X-Wedge V-Twin Engine

I'm sure there's no connection.. but ages ago I saw an article in MCN,
with pictures and everything of an H-D replacement engine made by Frank Melling of Norton fame, it sounded really promising, big HP, H-D shape mounts and... it had three cams.. It was being called the Tri-cam motor, they were running it in an FXR and talked about going into production soon.
Never saw or heard another thing about it !!
Anyone else remember it ?

I like the general look - wonder if it goes as "fast" as it looks?
