How do I get Tel's trousers off?

After he melted his waterproof trousers on my pipes, under advice we tried oven cleaner (Cif, no smelly) someone else has suggested Mr Muscle? Or should I be content with having 'a little piece of him' with me when I ride?

Mrs T
Have been told, but have as yet never needed to try -
scrape the gunge off, when the pipes are hot, with a lolly stick or a wooden stirrer from Starbucks/Costa!

I'd say make him clean it until he gets it off!

Exactly. BUT make sure to put a piece of cardboard or something behind the pipes when you apply it. Do not allow the cleaner to get on anything else....Or it will permanently stain.
