Super Rally 2008 Denmark

Hi am seriously interested in doing this rally, and have some Harley riding friends that want to tag along too. This rally i believe will be held in Fredericia on Jutland in May. That at the moment is all the details i have. Please could the UK organiser PM me or post more details about dates, ferries, routes etc etc as need to organise things this end and need to get money together. Many thanx for any help in advance. I also had no more details than you until I did a google search and got these links below.

It also depends where you want to cross the channel you will have to work that one out yourself then look at the crossings available. Then do a RAC/AA Europe Route planner request.

Motorsport Travel
are a good source of cheaper fares than going direct to the main companies.

Plus you have our touring secretary you can contact details in the quin.

Saw a flyer at this years S R where you can have a tent waiting for you at the Denmark rally. Fully erected with air bed, chair and cool bag ( or two of each, except tent, if you are two up ) Cost was something like 200 Euro for the double thing and you get to keep all of it! Can try to get more info if it would be of interest mate?

Karl, thanx very much for your reply mate, but we are already sorted with all camping equipment thanx. Just booked DFDS ferry for 7th May and 13th May on the Dana Sirena. 3 people on 3 bikes and cabin £400 return. Apparently this is only ferry that does the Harwich-Esbjerg route on these days, so if not on it, you all need to find alternative routes, and tickets are going fast, did not fancy punching up all the way from Calais or going via Newcastle. So if anyone else from this site gonna be on board, come over and say hi, and we'll have a beer or two. Cheers. Vinnie

Have now booked ferry £430 return 3 riders, 3 bikes outside cabin (means it has windows, not under the stars lol) for this rally, organised my time off work and my riding companions have sorted theirs too. Anyone else travelling via Harwich /Esbjerg on the 7th May 08 on the Dana Sirena? Tickets going fast for the only ferry on that route around the rally times, so get your skates on if wanting to book this route. Hope to meet some more HDRCGB members on board for a beer or three. F*ck off expensive..............
look up listergarde,area of Copenhagen, makes Amsterdam look like Margate..

Tivoli gardens is good for a day out ..
and the little mermaid is a bit of a disappointment
only 3 foot tall..........

Spicey, hi mate, am half Danish and used to go every year until about 18 years ago, been a couple of times in this time though. Yes it is f@*k off expensive, but well worth the effort. Hope the expense doesn't put too many people off, just get ferries sorted early or will be dissapointed. Hope to see some of you there. Cheers. Vinnie
